With Bredbandskollen, IIS (The Internet Foundation in Sweden) wants to create an independent measurement value that the consumer can refer to if and when matters turn into disputes. But IIS is not an instance that can deliver a judgment in these matters. In these cases, we refer primarily to the ISP in question, The Swedish Telecom Advisors (Telekområdgivarna) as well as the The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
What responsibility does Bredbandskollen take for any dispute that could arise between an ISP and a user?
